As always with ZFM: Be aware that the Euro prices on the ZMF website are excluding VAT. That means that you need to add your local VAT (21% for The Netherlands for example) Plus around 2%-3% import tax on top of their price.

The ZMF Aeolus is hard to pronounce… Everything else about it is easy: It is light and easy to wear, it is easy to enjoy because of airiness of wooden ear-cups and it easy to listen to because it just sounds really nice!

All ZMF Headphones are build to order with a waiting time of 2-6 weeks approximately.
I try to build up stock but it is hard to keep up with the demand.

Aeolus:  [ˈe.o.los]

Aeolus, known as the “divine keeper of the winds” in Greek mythology, is our answer to those wanting an “open version of the Atticus.”  The Atticus, since its release in late 2016, has been known as a rare audiophile headphone that provides an impactful mid-bass experience while still leaving the mid range forward, lush, detailed and beautiful. The Aeolus, keeps with this tradition and furthers the vision of the Atticus by providing a smoother, more linear response, with better extension on the bottom and top end.

The current stock wood for the Aeolus is Sapele. We chose sapele for it’s excellent machining, sanding and finishing properties, as well as its medium density for a nice fast sound. It’s also beautiful!
