Every detail counts, and this motif is even found on the cable connectors. Finally, the black faux leather packaging and the carry case in the headphones’ colours enhance this exceptional product even further, and contribute to a Premium customer experience. In terms of acoustic performance, these closed-back headphones, designed and made in France, incorporate the latest full-range speaker driver technologies from Focal, with a 1 5/8″ (40mm) aluminium/magnesium ‘M’-shaped dome for an ultra-pure sound. They are supplied with a mini-jack cable and 1/4″ (6.35mm) jack adapter for use at home or on the move.
200 Years of Expertise
Born from a common passion for excellence, Focal (1979), Naim Audio (1973) and Bentley Motors (1919) are three Premium brands heralded for their expertise and remarkable products. Whereas Focal stands out in the acoustics sector, Naim’s expertise is in electronics and Bentley ranks among the finest manufacturers of luxury and racing cars. Between them, these three brands represent more than 200 years of expertise and cutting-edge engineering. With their individual heritages, they are each world leaders in their field, as well as being acknowledged as exceptional brands in their respective countries: Naim has won Queen’s Awards, while Bentley holds a Royal Warrant as a car manufacturer to the British Royal Family and Focal has been named an Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company, or EPV).
Innovation, Expertise and Excellence
Focal, Naim and Bentley have innovated tirelessly since their beginnings. Their founders – Jacques Mahul for Focal, Julian Vereker for Naim Audio and Walter Owen Bentley for Bentley Motors – each handed down a passion and taste for innovation. Each generation of hi-fi products and car models is enhanced with new technical, technological and design innovations offering ever greater levels of performance and listening and driving pleasure.
This innovative spirit is combined with strict production methods, reflecting each brand’s shared pursuit of excellence. Research and development investment, manufacturing and assembly in their workshops, meticulous aesthetics and unrivaled performance: Focal’s Grande Utopia EM Evo hi-fi loudspeaker, Naim’s Statement amplifier and the Bentley EXP 100 GT concept car embody this excellence: the best of Focal, Naim and Bentley.
In a partnership that goes back to 2008, Naim and Bentley have worked together to design and integrate optimized audio systems for each of the car manufacturer’s vehicles, providing the ultimate in-car sound experience. When Focal and Naim joined forces in 2011, Focal brought its acoustics expertise to bear on loudspeaker optimization.
In 2020, the renowned build quality and performance of the three brands have come together to offer music lovers exceptional listening experiences everywhere. Designers and acoustic and electronic engineers have spent more than a year working together on the development of exclusive special products: the Naim Mu-so for Bentley Special Edition wireless loudspeaker and the Focal for Bentley Radiance hi-fi headphones, creating a unique Bentley Collection.
Refinement and Performance: Timeless Icons
Each product has its own identity, yet embodies the essence of Bentley. The Copper finishes are a reference to the styling of the Bentley Mulliner Bacalar, itself inspired by the DNA of the EXP 100 GT electric concept car. The recurring motif on the products is inspired by Bentley seats’ iconic ‘Diamond’ quilting. The pure design of these special editions is complemented by cutting-edge Naim and Focal technologies for top-end, harmonious sound reproduction, whether you are listening to the Bentley in-car audio system, the Mu-so loudspeaker or the Radiance headphones.
Much More Than Headphones
Made in France, Radiance incorporates high-end Focal technologies. Bentley’s «Copper» finishes and «Diamond» motifs feature on the ear cups and cables, and inside the headband. Each detail of these luxury headphones has been carefully thought out.
